Embroidered lavender bag
This lavender bag was made out of recycled material as I cut up an old cushion cover from - I'm guessing - the '50s. My mother had started embroidering flowers on part of the cover, but she must've got fed up half way through as the cushion cover was never completed or used. I'm not sure what type of red flower the image is supposed to represent, or what type of pink petal, but they are very loosely based on images in a gardening book. The ribbon that forms the loop to hang the bag from was also recycled - probably from a gift box of some kind.
